The "Utah Teapot". In my Digital Media class we were asked to do a quick-build of this object. This object was originally created by Martin Newell at the University of Utah, he used a teapot as a reference model and created a dataset of mathematical coordinates. He then used those coordinates to create a 3D wire frame of those points. This was a starting point for 3D modeling and has furthered the 3D world past what Newell probably thought possible.
